Canoeing, Trail Hiking, biking, horseback riding, Nature photography or just taking in the amazing sites, this park is the place to visit. Literally a quarter mile off of the Parkway, the location can not be beat for a quick stop while driving down to the south shore. The plant life and animal life is amazing. Would you believe we have carnivorous plants in NJ? With 14 historic buildings(including an old saw mill), A marked hiking, biking or horseback riding trail and some plants, birds and animals you don't normally see in most parts of NJ, less the country, this park is truly unique. Set in the pine barrens with a working cranberry bog, this park can be anything from a fun visit to a multi-day event. Four days in the fall, they flood the bogs and harvest the cranberries.
