The Twin Lights are quite a site to behold.  Perched atop a large hill which the kids always love when we drive up, the two brick towers stand side by side seperated by the main building.  The 1st order Fresnel lens stationed in the power generating station beside them.  I'd like to say there is not much to the Twin Lights, but everytime The kids and I go there, there is a sense of overwhelming peace.  The views are staggering.  The museum is small but fun.  The mystery of the canon behind the lighthouse still amusing, but the biggest mystery of all, why are they called the Twin Lights when one tower is square and the other is not?  The nice part about the Twin Lights is that there are 64 steps that are relatively easy to navigate, so it is a good destination to bring the kids.  Still one of our favorites.
